Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a seat movable in a forward-backward direction with respect to a top plate of furniture with top plate installed in front, which can ensure an article housing space in which a baggage carried by a seated person can be easily put in or out, can avoid disturbance of the movement of the seat and legs of the seated person by the housed baggage, has a simple structure, and can be manufactured inexpensively.SOLUTION: In a chair 5 which comprises a seat 6 movable in a forward-backward direction with respect to a rear edge of a top plate 3 of a desk 4 installed in front and contacts with a floor 1, an article housing space S in which an article can be put in or out from at least a left and right direction is provided below the seat 6.
