Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair highly efficiently preventing dust, foreign materials, and the like from entering in a gap between an outer peripheral part of an elastically-deformable load receiving member and an outer shell of a support body in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The chair includes leg bodies 1, and a seat 2 supported by the leg bodies 1. The seat 2 comprises; a load receiving member 13 elastically deformed in the thickness direction by loading of a seating person; and a support body 14 supported by the leg bodies 1, and located on a lower side of the load receiving member 13 to support the load receiving member 13. The support body 14 includes: an outer shell 16 located outward the outer peripheral part of the load receiving member 13; an erecting part 17 being erected by a part of the outer shell 16; and an overhanging part 18 projecting from an inner face of the erecting part 17 to the inward of the seat 2, and covering a gap S between the outer shell part 16 and the outer peripheral part of the load receiving member 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
