Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the seat of a chair have smart appearance and enhance the static eliminating effect, by forming the seat from a seat frame having opening in the center and a conductive, elastic sheet stretched over in the position blocking the opening.
SOLUTION: The seat 2 is formed from a synthetic resin and is composed of a seat frame 21 having an opening 21a in the center and an elastic sheet 22 which is installed on the oversurface of the frame 21 in a position blocking the opening 21a and stretched over by means of affixation of the peripheral edges to the frame part around the opening. The seat 2 has an over-lining 23 enwrapping the frame 21 together with the sheet 22, wherein the peripheral edges are held in the positions included to the undersurface of the frame 21. The sheet 22 is made of an electric conductive material whose oversurface and undersurface are raised fluffy. The sheet 22 should have a tensile strength effective to a certain degree in the plane direction.
