Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the number of part items and facilitate the assembling by co-fastening a plate-like chalk valve body having a relief opening and the base end side of a plate-like relief valve capable of opening and closing the relief opening to a chalk shaft rotatably supported across the intake passage of a carburetor.
SOLUTION: This carburetor has a chalk valve 10 in an intake passage on the upstream side of a throttle valve, and a substantially semicircular relief opening 15a is formed on the lower half part of a chalk valve body 15. The relief valve body 17 and base end side plate part 18 of a relief valve 16 for opening and closing the relief opening 15a are pivotally fixed through a pin. The chalk valve body 15 is fitted to the defective part of a chalk shaft 11, and the relief valve 16 is put on the chalk valve body 15, a small hole is fitted to a screw hole, and a screw 21 is screwed from the relief valve 16 side to co-fasten the base end side plate part 18 of the relief valve 16 with the chalk valve body 15 between together to the chalk shaft 11.
