To provide a chamfering method using a chamfering member, which facilitates chamfering in the construction field, improves workability in the construction field, enhances the releasability of the chamfering member, and contributes improvement in quality of a product.
The chamfering method using the chamfering member, is for use in chamfering a corner portion of a handrail wall of a veranda in a concrete structure. The chamfering member is formed of a long and flat fixed portion and a chamfering portion integrally mounted on a longer end of the fixed portion in a manner protruding from a surface thereof. The chamfering portion and the fixed portion each are a molding of a glass fiber reinforced plastic which is a composite material obtained by reinforcing a thermoplastic resin by a continuous glass fiber mat. Then, the fixed portion is mounted on a flat base surface such as a floor panel upper surface to fix the fixed portion on the base surface, and then it is pinched by the base surface and a lower surface of a panel body of a temporary frame body forming a concrete placing member to vertically raise the panel body, followed by placing concrete. In this manner, the corner portion of the handrail wall is chamfered.
