To provide a chamfering and polishing device simultaneously polishing two faces by a single device and quickly responding to the abrasion of the grinding surface.

This chamfering and polishing device 10 is relatively movable to a plate workpiece 1. A straight cup grinding wheel 13 and an outer circumference type grinding wheel 14 are separately attached to a spindle 12 from a driving part 11. The grinding surfaces 13a and 14a of the both grinding wheels 13 and 14 are movably constituted in two crossing directions A and B. A single chamfering and polishing device 10 can simultaneously polish the two faces, shorten the polishing line, and provide the whole facility at low cost. When the grinding surface 13a of the straight cup grinding wheel 13 is abraded, it is moved in the two directions A and B to correct the position, thereby responding thereto easily and quickly. The position used for the machining of the outer circumference type grinding wheel is deviated by the movement in the correction position so that the outer circumference type grinding wheel 14 automatically prevents only a part from being abraded so as to elongate the service life come to be amended.
