Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a moisture holding capacity by forming at least one of a composite material of a pair of moisture permeable outer layers of natural chamois leathers, laminating a flexible foam layer therebetween, and adhering them at a point or section for isolating them from each other. CONSTITUTION: A foam material intermediate layer 2 is laminated or sandwiched between a pair of chamois leather outer layers 1 and 1' (upper outer layer and lower outer layer) in a sandwich structure. The layer 2 exhibits a waffle shape, and a pattern of air gaps or openings 2' is regularly provided. The structure is adhered by suitable adhesive. The adhesive is supplied only to a selected position on opposed inner surfaces of the layers 1 and 1'. The structure is compressed from both sides. Accordingly, a foam material reservoir 2 is disposed except a circumstance A of the leather, or a section A' corresponding to the pattern of the compressed gap or opening. And, the overall structure is not compressed but functioned as moisture absorption pockets.
