Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain rack type drive device 1 having a simple structure and improving durability while assuring fastness.SOLUTION: A rolling mechanism 21A and a chain 16 are cooperatively used at a rack base 2 and they can be applied for both a short distance running and a long distance running as shown at motion bodies 3, 4. Due to configuration in which piece parts 16a of the chain 16 are engaged with sprocket teeth 2a, the number of simultaneous engaged teeth is increased and a transmission force from the chain 16 to a rack base 2 is improved. Due to a simple structure in which the chain 16 is engaged with sprocket teeth 2a of the rack base 2, its weight is light, silent, its speed is high, and non-backlash can be realized, its maintenance is simple and its manufacturing can be carried out in less-expensive manner and additionally its tough feature and durability can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
