Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change over patterns efficiently while a change-over type printing machine for continuous operation is operated continuously without needing manual work.
SOLUTION: Plate cylinders 6A and 6B are installed freely contactably/ separably in relation to a blanket cylinder 4, selective contact/separation means 8A and 8B for making the plate cylinders 6A and 6B selectively contact/separate from the blanket cylinder 4 and pattern forming means 15 and 16 for forming the patterns on the plate surfaces 9 of the plate cylinders 6A and 6B are provided, and when one plate cylinder 6A is in contact with the blanket cylinder 4, a new pattern is formed on the plate surface 9 of the other plate cylinder 6B.
