PURPOSE: To prevent failure by pipe deformation by loading a pressing machine on three pipe members, mounting an article engaging pad on the front surface, providing a member supporting the pipe members between upper and lower pipes, in a conversion device where a transport surface is formed by the pipe members having the pressing machine.

CONSTITUTION: A pressing machine 18 includes an article engaging pad 41 grabbed between a top plate 42 and an intermediate plate 43, and the intermediate plate 43 is loaded on a body 45. The body 45 consists of an upper part 46, a lower part 47, and a stepping part 48 for interconnecting the two parts. In this stepping part 48 groove parts 49, 49a, 49b for receiving pipe members 16 are formed. The pipe members 16 are grabbed between the upper part 46 and the lower part 47 of the body 45, they are mounted so that three pipe members 16 are combined into one set, and a lower plate 50 is overlapped on the intermediate plate 43 and is fastened by fastening member 51. This structure can be resistant against a tend of pivoting around the pipe members based on operation resistance of an article, and prevent failure.
