Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently run a dewaxing unit while attaining improvements in yield and filtering characteristics, by enabling the compsn. of solvents to be changed in line with a stock oil according to a simple method.
CONSTITUTION: Pipings 21 and 22 are branched from the middles of a first solvent recovery piping 5 and a second solvent recovery piping 7, respectively. The branch pipings 21 and 22 are connected to a wet solvent tank 4. The branch pipings 21 and 22 are provided with on-off valves 23 and 24, respectively. Solvents from a first recovery tower C1 and a second recovery tower C2 are fed into the wet solvent tank 4 wherein a wet solvent to be used as a primary solvent to be first mixed with a stock oil is stored, whereby the MEK concn. of the wet solvent is heightened or lowered to change the compsn. of the solvents.
