PURPOSE: To reduce a all loss rate of a high speed call in the multi-carrier hopping TDMA communication system.

CONSTITUTION: When a call takes place, the system selects to the extent possible an idle channel so as not to select an idle channel in a time slot whose idle channel is only one while referencing a channel management table 7 under the control of a call control management section 5 thereby avoiding as much as possible a situation in which there exists a time slot with no idle channel. Thus, even when a high speed call requiring plural number of channels takes place, the call loss rate of the high speed call is reduced.
