Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically select an important program and to prevent video recording mistake by devising the system such that a reception channel is moved to a specific channel by means of scramble information.
CONSTITUTION: A signal including channel control information subject to frequency modulation from a transmitter 11 is sent to a reception station 40 via a transponder 2 of a communication satellite 1. A detection signal demodulated by a receiver 24 at first in the reception station 40 is fed to a decoder 25 decoding scrambled information. The decoder 25 uses a descramble means 23 in the decoder 25 to decode scrambling and uses a channel signal discrimination means 21 to extract the channel control signal from the signal whose scramble is decoded and a channel designation means 22 selects a channel to be received by the receiver 24 according to the channel control signal. Thus, the transmission station revises automatically the reception channel of the receiver 24.
