Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a communication channel to be used at the time of originating a call from an ISDN primary group line with respect to a private branch telephone exchange where ISDN primary group lines are stored.
SOLUTION: When a call is originated from an extension telephone set 50 to an ISDN primary group line, a channel to be used is selected from communication channels 701 to 723 based on extension number-communication channel information registered in a main storage device 20. At the time of incoming from the ISDN primary group line, a channel to be used is selected from communication channels 701 to 723 based on incoming number-communication channel information registered in the main storage device 20 and information received from a control channel 750.
