Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a channel for a gas chromatograph in which influence of a background is scarcely affected by improving reliability and stability in the channel.
CONSTITUTION: A sampler 1, a column 2 and a detector 3 are contained in constant-temperature ovens 4, 5. Tubes for connecting them to each other, joints 36 provided at the tubes and valves are all equalized in inner diameters, and the tubes, the joints and the valves in which inner surfaces are all polished are employed. Further, flow rates of gases are controlled by mass flow controllers 21, 24, 26. Integrated valves 7, 8, 27, 30 in which inner surfaces are polished are used at gas switching parts, and the metal gasket type joints 36 are employed.
