PURPOSE: To use a band selection key as a display key and to eliminate the need for a special display part for a channel in reception or a receivable channel by displaying channel selection information of a selected band at a video reproduction part when a band selection key is operated.
CONSTITUTION: This device has a television tuner part, a radio tuner part, the television image playback part, and band selection keys 41TV, 41FM, and 41AM for selecting television bands and radio bands, and when the band selection keys 41TV, 41FM, or 41AM are operated, the channel selection information of the selected band is displayed at the video display part. Consequently, the band selection keys can be used as channel selection display keys to decrease the number of keys, improve the operability, and use the video playback part as a display part for channel selection information, so another display part is not required.
