Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for memorizing the frequency of a desired broadcast station by allowing the system to be tuned to a designated station along with a program prepared in advance in the system through the entry of a station name when a broadcast station to be received is designated.

CONSTITUTION: A processing section 11 outputs a control output (b) of an oscillator 21 in response to the frequency corresponding to the name of the station stored in a memory 13 according to a program in a program memory 12 based on a key entry a data inputted by an input section 8 in order to receive the signal of a frequency such as frequency of NHK 1st channel stored in the memory 13, and the oscillator 21 sends an oscillating output corresponding to the name of station designated by the key input section 8. A mixer 3 selects a desired station in response to the oscillating output of the local oscillator 2 and the user receives the designated broadcast of the NHK channel 1. Thus, the desired station is selected depending on the name of the broadcast station without storing the broadcast frequency.
