PURPOSE: To make unnecessary cells by storing the memory content with the voltage of the sub-power supply circuit even if mains is disconnected, through the use of the sub-power supply circuit and the writing in of the channel selection voltage with volatile memories in a short time.

CONSTITUTION: The tuning detection circuit 10 detects audio carrier and generates output pulse in detecting the video carrier, and wrotes in it in the volatile memory 7 by driving the automatic write-in circuit 9. The automatic write-in circuit 9 sweeps the channel selection voltage until the next channel after the end of write- in. The volatile memory 7 memorizes the channel selection voltage with the signal in 13-bit, and the channel selection voltage generating circuit 6 feeds DC voltage to the varactor diode which is the tuning element of the electronic tuner 1 with this signal and controls the tuning frequency. In this case, since the memory content is stored with the sub-power supply circuit 12 even with the main power supply 13 disconnected, no cell is required.
