PURPOSE: To simplify a circuit by using almost all parts in common, by enabling a reversible counter to count down and up for a direct channel selection and sequential channel selection.
CONSTITUTION: Channel selector circuit 1 selects a channel-selection voltage equivalent to the counting output of reversible counter 2 and then applies it to the electronic tuner, and control-pulse generating circuit 10 generates one pulse from output terminal 14 when cahnnel selector swith 6 is operated, and several pulses from output terminal 15 corresponding to channel-selection pulses. Then, terminal 14 of circuit 10 is connected to the reset terminal of counter 2 and terminal 15 is to either input terminal of counter 2, or terminal 14 of circuit 10 is connected to one count input terminal of counter 2 and terminal 15 is to the other input terminal of the counter. As a result, counter 2 is enabled to count down and up for a direct channel selection and sequential channel selection so as to use almost all parts in common, thereby simplifying the circuit.
