Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel type brush roll 1 whose channel brush 2 is wound on a shaft 20 in a state where the shape of calked parts which are formed at prescribed intervals on a side face 4 on one side of the channel 3 of the channel brush 2 is maintained, when the channel brush 2 is wound on the shaft 20 and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: By calking the side face 4 on one side of the channel 3 comprising the channel brush 2 with the prescribed intervals, at 1st calked part 12 is formed, the channel brush 2 is wound on the shaft 20. When the 1st calked part 12 is situated at the position where it is wound on the shaft 20, the 2nd calked part 13 is formed by furthermore calking the inside of its region at the same position as the 1st calked part 12.
