Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cancel out a clearance formed by the overlapping of channeled side plates between the windings or lines of a channeled brush to effectively cancel out roughening of brush density due to the formation of the clearance.
SOLUTION: In a channeled brush, in which the curved base of a folded brush material 13, together with a core 14 inserted into the curved base, is driven into a groove 12 formed by the bottom plate and right and left side plates 11a, 11b of a metallic channel 11 and the right and left outside faces of the curved base are pressed and clamped by the right and left side plates 11a, 11b, one side plate 11 a is set at a height H at which it overhangs upward from the upper edge of the other side plate 11b, and one outer side of the brush material 13 is pressed toward the other outer side by this overhanging part 11a'.
