Title:
CHARACTER CONVERSION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60179872
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To delete an unnecessary declensional ''kana'' (Japanese syllabary) ending easily when a converted ''kanji'' (Chinese character) (K) has the declensional ''kana'' ending by forming a control key for deleting ''kana''. CONSTITUTION:If a ''kana'' delete key Q is depressed when [Yo.Mi.To.Ri] (to read) is displayed on a display part 7 after ''kanji'' conversion and [(K) Yo.Mi. To.Ri] is to be converted into [(K)Yo.(K)To] (reading), a control part 11 reads out a character code in a register 10, deletes the ''kana'' code on the final part and sets up the remaining character codes in a register 12. The character codes in the register 12 are transferred to a register 10 and [(K)Yo.Mi.(K)To] (reading) is displayed on the display part 7. When the key Q is depressed, the control part 11 detects the ''kana'' code in the register 12 and deletes the ''kana'' code. The ''kanji'' code in the register 12 is transferred to the register 10 and [(K)Yo.(K) To)](reading) is displayed on the display part 7.
