Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the display of character figures which are hardly identifiable with easily identifiable images by displaying the character figures as well in accordance with the font data corresponding respectively to every input of character figure information. CONSTITUTION:The character figure information of the character figures to beset and outputted is transferred from a control section 12 to a setting output RIP section 14 when an output command is inputted from an input section 11 upon ending of inputting and editing of the character figures. The setting output RIP section 14 sends the character figure information to a font control section 15 and requests image data. The identifiers to identify the display RIP section 13 and the setting output RIP section 14 are added to the data at this time. The setting output of the character figures displayed in accordance with the font data B is also executed in accordance with the font data A at this time. The character figures are thereby set and outputted at the quality equiv. to the quality obtainable with a phototype setting machine and the character figures of nearly the same image as the setting output can be checked with a display device; in addition, the character figure input/output device which allows easy identification of the displayed character figures is obtd.
