Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a wrong operation and prevent a wrong operation from lowering operability.SOLUTION: Character candidates are divided into a plurality of candidate groups, and a candidate group setting section (31) sets areas of the plurality of candidate groups on a touch panel (2). A candidate group selection section (33) selects a candidate group including a position of touching down in the area thereof, a character candidate setting section (34) sets areas of a plurality of character candidates included in the selected candidate group, and an input character determination section (36) selects a character candidate including a position of touching up in the area thereof as an input character. When the position of touching is moved to the area of another candidate group from the area of the selected candidate group, the candidate group selection section (33) changes the selected candidate group for another candidate group.
