CONSTITUTION: The device has a processing circuit which develops outline dot data on a bit map memory 2 by supposing the aspect ratio of one picture element to be 1:1, sets horizontal and vertical addresses to every one dot of a bit map, converts the horizontal addresses of the respective dots so as to correct the horizontal raster image of the character and the pattern to be plotted, processes painting-out to outline dot data and writes it into a frame memory 6.
