Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify address printing and an address list control by reading a KANJI (Chinese character) place name from a zip code input, the zip code from the KANJI place name input, the HIRAGANA (Japanese syllabary) place name from the KANJI place name input, and the KANJI place name from the HIRAGANA place name input. CONSTITUTION:When information inputted by an input means 1 is the numerical information, and a converting instruction is executed, a first reading means 4 reads the zip code corresponding to the numerical information, and when the information inputted by the input means 1 is the KANJI place name, and the converting instruction is executed, a second reading means 5 reads the zip code corresponding to the KANJI place name. Further, when the information inputted by the input means 1 is the KANJI information, and the prescribed instruction is inputted, a third reading means 6 reads the HIRAGANA place name corresponding to the KANJI information, and when the information inputted by the input means 1 is the HIRAGANA information, and the converting instruction is executed, a fourth reading means 7 reads the KANJI place name corresponding to the HIRAGANA information. Thus, the HIRAGANA place name can be retrieved from the KANJI place name, and the KANJI place name can be also retrieved from the HIRAGANA place name.
