Abstract:

PURPOSE:To speedily evaluate characteristics of a liquid crystal panel, etc., with simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:The display screen S of the liquid crystal panel 10 is virtually divided into plural parts and characteristic measurement images obtained as a result are formed on a photodetector 20 through a lens system 12. The photodetector 20 has photodetection parts PD1-PD9 as many as the divided parts and the characteristics of the liquid crystal panel 10 are evaluated at a time according to the plural detection outputs obtained from the photodetection parts PD1-PD9 at the same time.
