Abstract:
To provide a characteristic test method of an automobile body for suppressing vibrations other than a target vibration due to preliminary vibration of a vibration device when vibrating the automobile body in a pulse shape.SOLUTION: A characteristic test method of an automobile body performs a test on vehicle body characteristics of an automobile body 31 by vibrating a table 3 with a slide mechanism in the one horizontal axial direction using the table 3 with the slide mechanism for fixing the automobile body 31, a movable shaft section 5 connected to the table 3 with the slide mechanism, the main body section 7 for vibrating the movable shaft section 5 in the one horizontal axial direction, and an electrodynamic vibration device 9 having main body section support means 11 for supporting the main body section 7 so as to be vibrated. The method includes: a preliminary vibration process for preliminarily vibrating the main body section 7 of the electrodynamic vibration device 9 with the movable shaft section 5 braked; and a vibration process for braking the main body section 7 preliminarily vibrated and canceling braking the movable shaft section 5, and vibrating the table 3 with the slide mechanism in a pulse shape through the movable shaft section 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
