Abstract:
To provide a coating containing a charcoal powder derived from plants such as charcoal, bamboo charcoal, straw charcoal, nut charcoal, or the like which is excellent in dispersion stability and can be applied to a wide range of objects such as paper, a cloth and the like thereby to exhibit excellent coating film performances according to the objects.
The charcoal coating comprises a charcoal powder obtained by pulverizing charcoal derived from plants such as charcoal, bamboo charcoal, straw charcoal, nut charcoal and the like by crushing, for example, a polymer emulsion comprising a polymer dispersed in water, a cellulosic water-soluble polymer such as hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and an organic solvent such as ethanol and the like.
