Title:
CHARCOAL COOKING STOVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11304153
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce consumption of charcoal by forming a gap corresponding to thermal power between the lower end of body part and the upper end of a lower cover at the time of firing and closing the opposite ends tightly at the time of extinguishing.

Lower end of a body part 1 includes an inner fitting part 11 of smaller diameter than the body part 1 and a stepwise upper fitting part 12 being fitted to a lower cover 2. A plurality of air introduction holes 13, serving as air channels conducting the inside and the outside of the inner fitting part 11, are formed in the inner fitting part 11 in the circumferential direction. Ash is contained in the lower cover 2 and a step part being fitted vertically to the upper fitting part 12 of the body part 1 is formed at the lower fitting part 14. An upper cover 3 is not applied to the upper edge 6 of the body part 1 at the time of extinguishing the stove but used for enclosing the upper end opening thereof. Fuel, i.e., charcoal 5, is placed on a grate 4 and fired from the lower opening at the body part 1. It can be extinguished quickly by applying the cover 3 onto the body part 1.
