To provide a charcoal pot capable of retaining the combustion capacity of charcoal in a smokeless roaster using charcoal as a heat source by bringing the charcoal still burning in the charcoal pot after a beef roast cooking is finished into an oxygen deficiency to extinguish fire.

As a charcoal pot 15 incorporated in a smokeless roaster, an inverted circular truncated cone shaped charcoal pot main body 5 has engaged parts 2 in an upper end opening part 1 and a fire grill 4 near a lower opening part 3 in the main body and a cover body 6 with which the upper opening part 1 is, covered. The cover body 6 is provided with engaging parts 7 capable of engaging with the engaged parts 2. When a beef roast cooking is finished, the charcoal pot main body 5 is covered with the cover body 6, both the members are engaged with each other and the charcoal pot 15 is placed on a concrete surface, so that the upper and lower opening parts 1 and 3 are closed to bring the charcoal pot 15 into an oxygen deficiency. Thus, the fire of the charcoal is extinguished.
