To provide a charcoal-producing oven that can facilitate the temperature control in the charcoal oven and increase the yield of pyroligneous acid recovery.
This charcoal-producing oven (A) is equipped with the box (1), the wood container (2), the combustion chamber (3) and the door (4). The box is heat-resistant and the opening for charging the wood and for discharging the charcoal (6), the smoke outlet from the wood (7), the gas exhaustion opening and the blowing inlet (10) for the burner are individually opened and the temperature sensor (11) is set. the wood chamber (2) is surrounded with sectional plates (12), one face (13) is opened and linked to the smoke outlet (7). The combustion chamber (3) opposes to the bottom face and the side face of the wood chamber (2). The door shuts the opening (6). The pyroligneous acid recovery vessel (B) is equipped with a box (31) and the water tank (32). The box (31) has the smoke inlet (33), the smoke outlet (31) and the inlet (34) and the outlet (35) for the heat-exchanging water opened, respectively, and the outlet (37) for taking out the pyroligneous acid solution is opened at its bottom. In the water tank, a plurality of smoke paths (39) pass through in the water chamber (38), its outer periphery is fitted to the inner periphery of the box and placed in the box. The water chamber (38) is connected to the water inlet (34) and the water outlet (35).
