To enable a charcoal range to evenly take in air by forming air intakes by cutting and raising downward arbitrary portions of the bottom face section of the range so as to take the air flowing under the range in the range.
Arbitrary spots of the bottom face section 3 of a charcoal range 1 are cut and raised so as to form openings 2 on a fan side. The range 1 is formed in a box-like shape having an opening 2 on the top side and side wall sections 4 on four sides or a cylindrical shape having the bottom face section 3. When the range 1 is formed in the round shape, a plurality of air intakes is formed by cutting and raising upward or downward arbitrary portions of the bottom face section 3 so that openings may be formed in a direction which is nearly parallel to the outer peripheral line of the range 1. In addition, edge sections 5 are formed by extending the upper ends of the side wall sections 4 in the direction parallel to the bottom face section 3. The range 1 can be put in the notch of a table by hanging the edge sections 5 on the roof plate of the table. Therefore, the air flowing under the range 1 can be effectively taken in the range 1 through the cut and raised sections and used for sufficiently burning charcoal.
