Abstract:

To provide a charge cable, a charge control device, and a vehicle charging system, capable of detecting the abnormal states of the charge cable, including the disconnection of a control line through which pilot signals are communicated.

The vehicle charging system includes a power cable 340 for feeding power to an energy accumulating device from an external power supply 402, a signal generating circuit 602 for generating a control signal corresponding to a current capacity feedable to a vehicle through the power cable 340, a control line L1 through which the control signal is transferred to the vehicle, a feeding control part for controlling feeding based on the voltage level of the control line L1, a charge cable 300 comprising a bypass circuit 610 for changing a voltage applied from a vehicle side through the control line L1, a charge control part for charging the energy accumulating device based on the control signal, with the charge cable 300 connected to the vehicle, and an electronic control device 170 comprising a state detecting part for detecting the abnormal states of the charge cable 300 based on the signal level of the control line L1.
