Based on the received weather information, the duration of sunshine from the current position to the destination is estimated. Then, based on the estimated duration of sunshine, quantities of charging by a solar battery 46, a motor 48, and an engine 52 are determined. Due to this mechanism, a quantity of charging by the engine 52 can be suppressed to the minimum necessary value and thereby the consumption of gasoline can be suppressed.
