Abstract:
To provide a charge and discharge device capable of suppressing charging limitation and deterioration of a secondary battery when a failure occurs in a discharge circuit.SOLUTION: When a discharge circuit is diagnosed as having a failure, if an inter-terminal voltage of a secondary battery connected to the discharge circuit with a failure is lower than an upper limitation close circuit voltage and is lower than a switching voltage which is set higher than a reference target voltage, a CPU controls charging so that the inter-terminal voltage of other secondary battery excluding the secondary battery connected to the discharge circuit with a failure will reach a charging target voltage. In addition, when the discharge circuit is diagnosed as having a failure and the inter-terminal voltage of the secondary battery connected to the discharge circuit with a failure has reached the switching voltage, the CPU switches the charging target voltage to the switching voltage and controls the charging so that the inter-terminal voltage of the secondary battery connected to the discharge circuit with a failure will reach the charging target voltage after being switched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
