Abstract:
A state-of-charge estimation apparatus 10 that is connected to a power storage device 11 constituted by connecting a plurality of cell batteries 4-1 to 7-k, and estimates a state of charge of the power storage device 11, the state-of-charge estimation apparatus 10 including a first SOC computation unit 20 that computes a current integration value based on a total current Iall from a current detector 17 that detects the total current Iall flowing to or from the power storage device 11 from or to a power conversion device 12 while a previous SOC value is set as an initial value, and outputs the current integration value as a first state-of-charge estimated value SOC1, and a second SOC computation unit 24 that estimates, after suspension of discharge in the power storage device 11, an open-circuit voltage based on a total voltage Vall detected in a connection point between the power conversion device 12 and the power storage device 11, a previous value of the total voltage Vall, and a gain K3 that decreases with passage of time after the suspension of the discharge in the power storage device 11, and outputs the open-circuit voltage as a second state-of-charge estimated value SOC20.
