Title:
CHARGED PARTICLE BEAM ASYMMETRIC COLLISION-TYPE NUCLEAR FUSION REACTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018044830
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a fundamental condition for generating a nuclear fusion reaction by generating nuclear fusion in an oblong region has been found by elongating a length in an axial direction longer than a length of an average free stroke of a charged particle by making two pieces of charged particle beams whose diameters are reduced to 1 μm collide with each other (Japanese Patent Application No. 2015-000007); however, it is necessary to superimpose the charged particle beams on each other over a length exceeding the average free stroke, also it is necessary to make charged particle bunches wholly and accurately collide with each other, unreacted particles are thus increased, and energy which is necessary for acceleration becomes wasteful.SOLUTION: Two pieces of charged particle beams can be accurately collide with each other by expanding a diameter of the low-speed beam and increasing the number of particles by injecting one of the charged particles at a low speed and the other of the charged particles at a high speed, and making them collide with each other, and the high-speed charged particle can be reacted in nuclear fusion without waste.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
