Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a warning when terminals are short-circuited.SOLUTION: The charger includes: an output control switch that has two power supply terminals that can be electrically connected to a secondary battery and is capable of supplying power of a DC power source to the secondary battery and is provided between the DC power source and the power supply terminals; a resistor connected in parallel to the output control switch; and a power supply terminal voltage detection section for detecting a voltage between the two power supply terminals. The charger selects control for turning on the output control switch or control for issuing a warning in accordance with the voltage value detected by the power supply terminal voltage detection section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
