Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain the start of load by releasing tentatively the current limit for a time requiring the start current of a load. CONSTITUTION:In the AC adaptor mode, since no output current flows before the load start, a transistor (TR) Q1 of a current detection section is turned off, a TR Q2 of a current limit release section is turned on, and a capacitor C2 deciding the current limit time is discharged. When the load is started, a start current flows, the TR Q1 is turned on, the TR Q2 is turned off, the capacitor C2 is charged via a resistor R3 and the current limit is not released until the voltage reaches a potential decided by a Zener diode ZD1.
