Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the bottom body of footwear which is hardly slippable and safe (antislip property), hardly wears, has good durability, is light weight, is less fatiguing, is easy to walk with and does not produce uncomfortable sounds at the time of walking by forming at least the part of the main sole of the footwear, which part comes into contact with the road surface, of a vulcanize rubber body essentially consisting of polynorbornene rubber and specifying the spring type hardness of this vulcanized rubber body to a specific range.
CONSTITUTION: At least the part of the main sole 1a of the sole body 1 of the footwear, which part comes into contact with the road surface, is formed of the vulcanized rubber body 1 essentially consisting of the polynorbornene rubber and the spring type hardness of this vulcanized rubber body 10 is so specified as to be 25 to 40.
