Title:
CHARGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3643711
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interrupt charging when either of secondary batteries connected in parallel for charging in an extremely simple circuit is charged by overcurrent.
SOLUTION: A charger performs charging by connecting a plurality of secondary batteries 1 in parallel. The charger is provided with current-adjusting resistors 12 that are connected in series with each of the secondary batteries 1. The current adjusting resistors 12 are arranged close to one another. Further, the charger is provided with one thermistor 13 that is arranged close to the plurality of current adjusting resistors 12 and a charge breaking circuit. The thermistor 13 is connected to the charge breaking circuit to detect the temperature of the current adjusting resistors 12. The charge breaking circuit interrupts charging all secondary batteries 1 when the temperature of either of the current adjusting resistors 12 becomes higher than a set temperature.
