Abstract:
To reduce the influence of driving sound noise of a cooling device during charging.SOLUTION: A low power level is a level of charging power at which an appropriate temperature range can be kept in cooling control at a low driving level of a cooling device that cools at least one of a battery and a power converter. At a high power level higher than the low power level, the appropriate temperature range cannot be kept in the cooling control at the low driving level, but the high power level is a level of the charging power at which the appropriate temperature range can be kept in the cooling control at a high driving level with a higher cooling capacity than the low driving level. A processor of a charge control apparatus identifies a required charge quantity to the battery (steps S114 and S116). The processor controls the power converter so as to charge the battery at the high power level up to a predetermined charge quantity at which the identified required charge quantity can be reached (step S124), and charge the battery at the low power level after the predetermined charge quantity is reached (step S132).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
