Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the internal resistance of a charging part by detecting the charging current or voltage value to a secondary battery and controlling the current or voltage based on the detection value for connecting the charging part to the negative side of the secondary battery.
CONSTITUTION: A charging part 15 consists of an output detection part 16' for detecting charging current or voltage value to a secondary battery 14, a charging control part 16 for controlling the current or voltage based on the detection value, and a charging voltage generation part 17. The charging part 15 is connected to the negative side of the charging part 15 or the secondary battery 14. By connecting the charging part 15 to the negative side of the secondary battery 14 and controlling the voltage at the negative side for charging, an N-type transistor can be used as a control transistor and hence the internal resistance of the charging part 15 can be reduced.
