Title:
Charging device
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6295942
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure output performance of a battery regardless of temperature or degree of deterioration of the battery.SOLUTION: Chargers (100, 200) are mounted on a vehicle provided with: a battery (16); and voltage change means (11, 17) which are electrically connected to the battery and can change voltage. The chargers are provided with: state detection means (21) detecting a battery state; deterioration degree calculation means (20) calculating the degree of deterioration of the battery on the basis of the detected battery state; charge control means (20) which controls the voltage change means so that voltage on the battery side of the voltage change means becomes higher than terminal voltage of the battery on the condition that a power storage ratio of the battery is below power storage threshold. The charge control means sets power storage threshold high when battery temperature is lower than temperature threshold in comparison with when the battery temperature is higher than the temperature threshold or sets power storage threshold high when the degree of deterioration is greater than the deterioration degree threshold in comparison with when the degree of deterioration is smaller than the deterioration degree threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
