Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determinate a full charge in a liquid type lead battery.SOLUTION: A charging device comprises: a power conversion circuit that converts a power of a poser source and supplies the power to a liquid type lead battery; a current measurement part that measures a current flowing in the liquid type lead battery; a voltage measurement part that measures a voltage of the liquid type lead battery; and a control part. The control part charges the liquid type lead battery by charging a constant current. The control part determines a full charge during charging of the liquid type lead battery. The control part calculates the voltage when starting pause and a voltage change amount that is the difference of the voltage after the start of the pause for a pause period provided with an interval during the charging of the constant current. The control part determines that the liquid type lead battery achieves the full charge when a change amount per a unit time of the voltage change amount is smaller than a negative threshold value, after that, the amount is set in a range. In the range, a lower limit is set to a value between the negative threshold value and 0, and an upper value is set to the value of 0 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
