Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold a normal pack battery in a full charge condition by preventing overcharge of the pack battery in which either of secondary batteries is degraded.
CONSTITUTION: After a pack battery enclosing plural secondary batteries is fully charged, when voltage of the pack battery becomes a preset value or less, recharge is resumed, and full charge is performed. When the recharge time of the pack battery is shorter than the preset time or a battery temperature is higher than a preset temperature when the pack battery is recharged and/or a temperature rising gradient of the battery is higher than a preset temperature gradient when the pack battery is recharged, recharge thereafter is restricted, and overcharge is prevented.
