Abstract:

To provide a charging pressure control device for performing charging pressure control with good responsiveness depending on an exhaust recirculation amount by a relatively simple control system.

A target upstream exhaust pressure P3CMD is set to match charging pressure P2 with a target charging pressure P2CMD, and an exhaust pressure control is performed to match upstream exhaust pressure P3 with target upstream exhaust pressure P3CMD. The exhaust pressure control is performed based on a controlled object model acquired by modeling an object to be controlled from an intake pipe 2 to an exhaust pipe 4 through a cylinder 1a. One of model parameters defining the controlled object model, that is, a model parameter c indicating disturbance, is set as a function of a recirculation amount mrdot of exhaust passing through an exhaust recirculation mechanism, and the model parameter c is identified to perform the charging pressure control in view of influence of the exhaust recirculation amount mrdot.
