Abstract:
To detect an abnormality with power lines for charging inside a vehicle in a charging system of an electric vehicle.
In the charging system of an electric vehicle, a signal application section 520 of an ECU 170 applies test signals from an vehicle inlet 270 to the power lines PWR-H, PWR-C via wirings for test TEST-H, TEST-C. Then, by comparing signals detected by a signal detection section 540 with the test signals at the connection end at the side of a charging device 160 of the power lines PWR-H, PWR-C by means of the abnormality detection section 530, the disconnection and short-circuit of the power lines PWR-H, PWR-C are detected.
