Charging system identification symbol transmission means includes a protrusion section 60 formed from a plurality of protrusion patterns provided on a charging plug 24 of a charger 2 and a plurality of identifiers 63 mounted on an outlet part 31 of a vehicle 3 connected with the charging plug 24. The identification symbol transmission means transfers a station ID referring to the charger 2 to a battery control section 33 mounted on a vehicle 3 and then the battery control section 33 transmits the station ID together with a user ID of the vehicle 3 to a management device 4, thus accurately identifying a connection relationship between the vehicle 3 and the charger 2.
